Hmmm. Well the thing about relationships is, you tend to lose em same way you got em. So if you stole someone’s husband or wife, chances are you might get em stolen from you by someone else. And even if that is not happening, your knowledge of the history of the relationship leaves you paranoid. Its pretty much a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” kinda scenario.
For both Eddie and LeAnn, assuming this story is true (and I am thinking it might be) maybe a little bit of patience would help. See the sad fact is I can’t think of a living being who does not have at least one major flaw and in fact most of us have tons of flaws. The secret is patience, especially in marriage. If your life is not being threatened, if the children are not somehow compromised, divorce in my opinion, should be the very last option.
But perhaps I am being too hard on them both. Afterall, I don’t know the circumstances of their previous marriages. I do however think that if they were both unhappy with their previous partners, going out n hooking up with someone else was not the right way to solve the problem. I also think they owe it a duty to each other to be a little wiser this time and be a little more committed to this marriage.
Just thinking aloud.
They have been rocked by reports of trouble in paradise in the past.
Star magazine has reported that the couple, who married in an intimate ceremony in Malibu in 2011, are heading for a $50 million divorce, with Eddie said to be ‘fed up’ with his wife’s behaviour.
‘They’ve only been married for two and a half years,’ a source allegedly told the publication. ‘But she’s been driving him (Eddie) to distraction with her psycho behaviour almost from the moment they hooked up.
‘It’s been getting continuously worse since they made it official, and Eddie can’t take it anymore; he’s at the end of his rope.
‘Being married to LeAnn is the worst mistake he’s ever made, and this past year in particular has been a nightmare. He wants out.’
Eddie and LeAnn were seen holding hands and smiling as they landed at Los Angeles International airport on Tuesday, appearing to quash rumours of marital problems.
The couple have also spoken out to deny the allegations, with the actor’s rep telling E! in a statement the story is ‘completely untrue.’
‘Amazing how Star dreams up these stories and then prints lies as possible truth,’ they said on Wednesday.
In their report, the tabloid also claimed that Eddie was holding out from ending his marriage until the couple finish filming their new VH1 reality TV show.
According to Star, LeAnn had been increasingly bossy on the set of the reality series, pushing Eddie to the edge
‘She yells at him and makes him do take after take, then he reminds her that he’s the actor, not her. It’s just so embarrassing,’ the insider added.
LeAnn’s persistent public digs at Eddie’s ex Brandi Glanville was also said to be also taking a toll on the pair’s relationship.
Even though Eddie and LeAnn shocked the world when they broke up their respective marriages to Brandi and Dean Sheremet, and subsequently married in 2011, the country music star continues to lambast Eddie’s ex on social networking site Twitter.
‘LeAnn goes out of her way to torment Brandi, like when she tweets about Brandi’s sons (Mason and Jake) and call them “her boys”. LeAnn also refers to Brandi as “the drunk who sleep around” when she and Eddie are with friends,’ the insider apparently told Star.
And while the former Playboy Club star ‘used to laugh it off’ in the past, the actor, who is said to have become friendly with Brandi again, was reportedly fed up with it.
The magazine also claimed that LeAnn, who checked into rehab last year in August to treat ‘anxiety and stress’ issues, would often get into rows with Eddie after ‘drinking early in the day and into the evening.’
They claimed that the Can’t Fight The Moonlight star also would accuse her husband of cheating, provoking ugly arguments.
‘That often leads to fights between them in the middle of the night, when she accuses him of being unfaithful and disloyal while Eddie tries desperately to calm her down and make her see reason,’ the insider claimed.
‘On more than one occasion, LeAnn has even locked herself in the closet after drinking, telling that she wants to be left alone.’
While Eddie is reportedly worth $12 million in his own right, Star reported that the actor was not afraid to go after a chunk of LeAnn’s $38 million fortune if he choose to proceed with a divorce.
‘If LeAnn makes things ugly for him, he’d take her for every penny he could,’ added the source.
‘Eddie’s attitude is: If he gets any money from LeAnn, he’s more than earned it.’
