I was going to raise the issue of where this famed star was when his two year old was being beaten to death but figured it might not be a very good point to raise in the midst of what I assumed was as tragic a loss for him as it probably was for the mother (never minding the fact that she more or less killed the baby by putting it in harm’s way to begin with).
Obviously my thoughts at the time were right on.
Another absentee dad whose only role in the child’s life was providing the semen that made it possible for the foetus to be formed. He even needed a DNA test to prove a connection to the baby and that only happened a few months ago. Well, I am guessing dude is probably a little relieved the baby is dead. He had no emotional bond with it. One less child support to worry about.
Meanwhile some women have elevated getting pregnant for so called “stars” to an art form. We are talking about mature adults here. This man has already fathered four children with three women, none of whom he is married to nor playing any active role in the children’s lives. I bet none of them ever heard of birth control right? What a world.

Peterson, who is not married, has two daughters, ages 6 and 3 months, and two 2-year-old sons — one of whom was allegedly beaten by his mother’s boyfriend and died Friday.
Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson is the NFL MVP, but as a father he seems to be more like MIA.
Peterson is talented at fathering children out of wedlock — he reportedly is the father of a 3-month-old girl born to a woman who works as a waitress at a popular Minneapolis club, TMZ.com reported Tuesday.
Peterson also found out recently that he had a 2-year-old son with a different woman — a child who was allegedly beaten by his mother’s boyfriend and died on Friday. The running back only learned the boy was his after submitting to a DNA test a few months ago, the Daily Mail reported.
Peterson’s 3-month-old girl is living with her mother, whom Peterson met when she served him as a waitress in the VIP area of Seven, a Minneapolis steakhouse and sushi joint rolled into a nightclub, TMZ reported. It was not immediately clear if Peterson was still involved in the waitress’ life. Her name was not revealed.
Peterson, who is not married, has two other children: a 2-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter.
New details emerged Tuesday about the doomed life of the Peterson spawn who died last week in a South Dakota hospital. Sioux Falls police identified the 2-year-old boy as Tyrese Robert Ruffin. Police say he died two days after being hospitalized with severe head injuries.
The man who claims to have raised Tyrese Bobby Ruffin, slammed Peterson’s fans for sympathizing with the gridiron great, who is sometimes called “AP” because of his initials.
“I’m sick of the ‘poor AP s—!,” Bobby Ruffin ranted on his Facebook page. “He didn’t know or even meet my son. Sorry for the outburst but put yourself in my place.”
The mom of Peterson’s 3-month-old girl mourned on her Facebook page the day the 2-year-old boy died, TMZ reported.
“Today has been a long day finding out my (daughter’s) brother passed away and knowing that she never even got to meet him,” she posted.
Peterson decided to play in a game two days after his 2-year-old son died, because, he said, football “gets me through the tough times.” He is expected to fly to South Dakota to attend his son’s funeral later this week, sources told the Mail.
The man who allegedly beat Peterson’s boy, Joseph Robert Patterson, 27, was jailed after being charged last week with aggravated assault and aggravated battery. Prosecutors plan to ask a grand jury to consider more serious charges, The Associated Press reported.
