And here you have it! Another pair of evil trolls is up for the award of parents of the year with this inventive new way of looking after a child. Give birth to them, starve em, feed em salt and voila! You are there! Yes, right at the top of the list along with all other vile minded parents who came before you.
Well, the poor child is dead now and hopefully resting in the good Lord’s bosom, the same Lord who I hope is ticked off enough to see to it that here on earth justice takes its course and these two monsters have a nice long stint in jail with other equally sinister characters. Hopefully they get to experience some of the fear and pain they put this poor child through while serving out time in the big house.
Sorry for the rant. Couldn’t help it.

An emaciated four-year-old boy died of a head injury after being subjected to a campaign of ‘incomprehensible’ cruelty by his mother and stepfather, a court was told today.
Daniel Pelka, whose physical condition was likened by a doctor to that of a concentration camp victim, was deliberately starved over several months, Birmingham Crown Court heard.
Jurors were told that the youngster – whose mother and stepfather came to Britain from Poland in 2006 – was ‘imprisoned’ in a bedroom, which had no door handles, and force-fed salt.
Dead: Daniel Pelka, whose physical condition was likened by a doctor to that of a concentration camp victim, was allegedly deliberately starved over several months, Birmingham Crown Court heard
Daniel was pronounced dead at University Hospital Coventry after paramedics were called to his home in Coventry in March 2012. He weighed just 1.5st – 15lbs below the average for his age.
His mother, Magdelena Luczak, 27, and her partner, Mariusz Krezolek, 33, deny murdering Daniel and causing or allowing his death.
Opening the case against the couple at the start of a trial expected to last eight weeks, prosecutor Jonas Hankin QC alleged that text messages provided compelling evidence of their guilt.
In one message to her partner in February last year, which was read to the jury,
Daniel’s mother is alleged to have said: ‘He’s temporarily unconscious as I nearly drowned him. I am having some quiet time.’
Krezolek is alleged to have told Daniel’s mother in another message sent in October 2011: ‘Lead or take him to the room and lock him there. You will have some peace and do wait for me.’
Jurors heard Luczak sent Krezolek another message which read: ‘We will deal with (Daniel) after school. He won’t see grub at all.’
Mr Hankin said of when police officers searched the house: ‘Upstairs there was no sign of a bedroom for Daniel, in the small room, which I shall call the box room. The carpet was damp to the touch.
‘Lead or take him to the room and lock him there. You will have some peace and do wait for me’
Text message allegedly sent from Mariusz Krezolek to Magdelena Luczak
‘There were palm prints on the door on the inside in the area where a child would expect the doorknob to be. In the room when they arrived was an old television, a child’s bike and some clean clothes. They realised the room had been used as a cell for him.’
Mr Hankin said it was alleged that Daniel, who was found to have suffered a subdural haematoma, was unconscious when a text was sent from Luczak to Krezolek at 4.34pm on March 2.
The message, translated from Polish, is alleged to have read: ‘He’ll get over it by tomorrow. There is no point to stress ourselves out and to call an ambulance because that will cause proper problems.’
Daniel had been well-liked by both teachers and pupils at his school, the court heard. But he was seen stealing fruit from the school canteen, and eventually began taking food from other children.
The trial continues.
