Ronaldo is one of my favorite footballers. I tend to have a soft spot for people who do what they do well. But in his case, like Van Persie and one or two others whose names escape me at the moment, not only is he good at what he does, he is also pretty in that masculine way some men are. My only problem with him is that he is rather vain unlike Van Persie who seems to take his looks in his stride.
Anyway, vain or not, the young man is already on his way to being immortalized in wax. Check this out.
He’s known for his metrosexual ways and love for preening himself.
And now fans of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo are to be treated to a double vision of the Portuguese heart throb.
The Real Madrid player was spotted being measured up to have a wax work figure of himself created on Friday morning.

Although it wouldn’t be surprising if some fans mistook the 28-year-old for a wax work himself.
On close inspection eagle eyed viewers would see it was in fact Cristiano posing for the creators in Madrid.
But thanks to his perfectly coiffed looks and pristine image he already looked much like a model figurine.
Big head? The Real Madrid player earlier covered up his buff body under a green T-shirt as the measurements got underway
Ronaldo’s hair was slicked to the side without a lock out of place.
And he showed off his buff body as he ensured the museum staff got the exact measurements for almost every party of his athletic shape.
He stood in just a pair of red shorts and trainers as he concentrated on the job at hand.
Earlier on he looked serious as his head measurements were also taken down while he stood in a green T-shirt emblazoned with the words: ‘Herbalife.’
While it was work of kinds for Ronaldo on Friday he managed to get some down time earlier in the week in his home country.
He even managed to sneak backstage, where he posed up with the singer and shared the picture on his Facebook page.
Cristiano looked delighted to be with the star and captioned the shot with a casual: ‘Yesterday at @rihanna’ s concert.’
It’s not the first time the sportsman has made headlines by posing up with popstars.
Last week, Ronaldo met One Direction at the Spanish club’s training ground, as the boys took some time out from their whistle-stop European tour to train with Jose Mourinho‘s men in the Spanish capital.
At the end of their brief kickabout, three of the band members enjoyed a meet-and-greet with the manager, who presented them with a Real shirt, before they caught up with the players.
‘It is amazing to see how they train and see so many such good players. We are big football fans and Real Madrid are one of the best teams on the planet.’
